New security measures prevent credit and debit card fraud

Thanks to new security measures the use of credit and debit cards is a lot more secure than a half year ago. Research earlier this year showed that loses caused by fraud had fallen by 20 per cent. Security measures like fraud detection tools and MasterCard SecureCode make it more difficult for criminals to use stolen or cloned cards to redraw money. There was just one curious result in the research, researchers noticed that security systems weren't able to decrease loses caused by card fraud with a card which had been lost in mail.
